“Threesome”

I seem to have a theme happening and it’s rather boaty! Original art by Susan Feniak. QOR and Holbein Watercolors colour on Fabriano hot press paper. 8″×10″

“Boaters Live Longer”

Original art by Susan Feniak.  Acrylic on 20” x 20” box canvas.  A new biggish painting!  Yay!  This one has been on my easel for awhile.  Time?  What is that?  Believe it or not this one is going to stay at our house and hang in a nautical theme bathroom.  It is a painting of our boat so who else would want it anyway?  Right?

Art Show and Sale Coming Event

Its time once again for the annual Arts and Crafts Show at The Red Barn in Sicamous.  I am getting ready as I am allowed to show four of my original paintings for sale at the show.  Hubby has been busy building barn board frames for two of my bigger pieces of art.  Look at that there they are, “The Stand” and “Raven Trail Boardwalk”.  The show runs from June 29 to July 3 2016.  It would be nice if some of my family and friends could make it to the show this year.  Cheers, Susan

Raven Trail Boardwalk

original art by Susan Feniak  acrylic on 20” x 24” canvas   Here it is hot off the easel!  My latest painting, from a photo I took late last summer along one of my favourite places to walk, Raven Trail, Salmon Arm, B.C. Canada.  My home town.  The trail meanders along the foreshore of Salmon Arm Bay.  It is a nature preserve and bird sanctuary.  Sights to behold whilst walking the trail are a beaver dam, and den, assorted wild life and wild fowl that include swans, grebes, geese, blue herons, and last summer a flock of white pelicans visited there.  Hope you enjoy the view and get a sense of what a beautiful spot this is from my painting. Cheers, Susan
