“Spring Tulips”

Spring Tulips. Artist Susan Feniak. QoR Watercolor on Strathmore Vision paper. 9″ x 12″. Officially Spring begins around 3 p.m. today. These tulips are my homage to that momentous event. I hadn’t played with my watercolors for ages and it felt like I had become a tad rusty. I better find more time to practice.

“Dancing Blues”

After a few set backs and feeling some what discouraged here I am. Never give up! I am persistent. Dancing Blues. Golden Acrylics on 12″ x 12″ box canvas. I used a palette knife to get the texture on the dancing waves.

I have been with WP for eight years! Time flies.

My Old Pond

My Old Pond. Artist Susan Feniak. Acrylic on 12″ x 12″ box canvas. My use of a palette knife gives this one a lot of texture. I felt like playing and it sure was fun.

“Who’s There?”

Done, finished, complete. And I am happy with the end result. Anyone that knows me would also know I wouldn’t be happy until I finished this one. Cheers Susan.

In progress…

In progress. Perhaps I have been influenced by all the paintings of Fox’s I have seen of late or maybe I wanted to try something different. I am not sure. But whatever the inspiration may be here is my latest watercolor piece still in progress. I rarely post a painting until I consider it done. Maybe just maybe I am happy with this one thus far.

Spreading some brightness

It has been a couple weeks of dull winter weather in my neck of the woods. In the need of some brightness if not sunshine it was time to paint some colorful happy flowers. Hope they bring you smiles and some brightness too. Cheers Susan

Happy 2019

Have a happy healthy and creative 2019. Cheers Susan Feniak. PEACE.
