“Pansy Chain”

Painting Pansy Chain“Pansy Chain” Original art by Susan Feniak.  Experimenting and imagining….

Imagine if you will, a warm sunny day, a picnic basket, a blanket spread on the green grass and the time to do the more pleasurable things in life like make a flower chain.  Can you smell that green grass?  Hear the birds sing?  Told you I was imagining.  The experimenting?  Well this painting sat on my easel for an age.  I started it, left it, tweaked it, left it and then I decided to experiment.  I had fun playing with different materials that included spray on glue and tissue paper.  Now you can imagine what kind of mess I got myself into.  But no worries, its all about the fun!!

Mix media and Acrylic on 24″ x 24″ box canvas.

  10. Exactly! about the fun, love the bright cheerfulness of your painting. Joy is the next best “tool” that an artist has and I feel it with this. 🙂
