#WorldWatercolorMonth July 18 “Puffin”

#WorldWatercolorMonth July 18 “Puffin”. Only time for another quick sketch again today. These brightly colored billed birds have always intrigued me.  Until I started looking at photo’s of them I didn’t realize what doleful eyes they had. Next time I hope to have a bit more research on them to share with you.  Happy Monday! PEACE

Great painting! There are no puffins where I live and so wanted to see one while visiting Maine a few years ago, but they were all hiding, I guess. Yours is terrific 🙂

  11. He is gorgeous, you are quite right about the eyes, sometimes painting really makes you take a close look at animals and study minute detail
