I really have been lucky enough to actually swim with a couple of them. Careful, don’t touch them, just watch. They have such grace and presence. I will remember the pleasure forever.

Thank you Myriam. I missed selfie day last month, so maybe. But I think the turtle should stand alone, or swim alone as the case may be. 🙂

The turtle looks lovely swimming on its own or with company. I recently watched a documentary where a diver was swimming with whales, so my imagination went in the “self-portrait with turtle” direction. 🙂

Swimming with whales? Now that would truly be an awesome experience. A little frightening maybe but Wow!!

It looked scary. He also had to dive without an oxygen tank so as not to disturb them. He could hold his breath for two minutes while swimming fast with a camera. Pretty impressive. He looked tired but radiant with joy at the end of shooting. One of his favourite work assignments ever.

He is gorgeous, looks like you must of got some great awareness of these guys to have swam with them….you can see the love through your painting. I think this is my fav of your paintings….for the moment any how, with a busy July painting this could change?? What’s next. Oh I love this months celebration.
